8 Swimmers qualified for this years Northeast Classic invitational meet last weekend and represented well, 3 School records dropping along the way.
4 Girls (Annalisa Di Cerce , Rachel Dempsey, Skylar Smith, and Lizzie Regovich)
The Girls dropped time in 2 relays, breaking the school records they already hold. Their 200 Medley relay went a 1:59.89, the first time breaking the 2:00 mark and a big drop from their previous record. The 400 Freestyle relay also shaved some time going a 402.62, Pushing their school record even closer to the sub 4:00 mark. Promising individual swims from the girls as well in the 100 Back(Skylar) 100 Free(Annalisa) 100 Breaststroke(Rachel) and the 50 freestyle(Lizzie).
4 Boys ( Brian Regovich, Jimmy Wallace, Brian Kaucic, and Dom Humble)
The Boys 400 freestyle relay went a 3:28.12, a PR for the relay that has been tough to beat all year. Brian Regovich was close to his PR’s in both the 200 and 500Freestyle, advancing to finals in both races, placing 4th overall in the 500 free. Jimmy wallace takes down the schools 50 Freestyle record that he has been eyeing for some time now. 22.67 is what Jimmy swam, breaking the 23 second mark for the first time in prelims, then breaking the school record with his swim at finals.
