BURTON—Junior Jessica Gotti finished in eight place overall to lead North to a fifth-place finish at the 2019 Berkshire Early Bird Invitational at the Geauga County Fairgrounds on Aug. 24.
Gotti completed the race in 20:05.
All seven of the Rangers’ runners finished among the top 50 on Saturday.
Freshman Rachael Vojtush placed 19th in 20:47, sophomores Kyra Kiessling (21:35) and Jillian Ayres (22:18) finished 31st and 34th, respectively, and freshman Maya Buonigiovanni (23:01) was 41st. Junior Melanie Wayts (23:12) and freshman Olivia Godshall (23:54) finished 43rd and 49th, respectively.
Junior Jason Reik placed 25th overall with a time of 17:31 to lead the Rangers to an 11th place finish in the boys’ race.
Seniors Finn Sullivan (18:53) and George Inman (19:14), juniors John Keough (18:29) and Gabe Meros (19:27), sophomore David Viaksnoras (18:56) and freshman Matt Colton (19:21) also competed for the Rangers.
